Can you believe it, Chula Vista? Here we are in December already! It feels like we were enjoying the sunshine at the Lemon Festival just yesterday, and now it’s time to celebrate the holiday season. December is packed with festive events, and there’s even one that’s celebrating a monumental 60 years! Here’s your guide to all the top Chula Vista events for December 2024 happening around town. Be sure to join the fun and make this holiday season unforgettable. We can’t wait for the Chula Vista Starlight Parade—it’s going to be even bigger this year, especially with it being held on a Saturday!

Chula Vista Starlight Parade
When: Saturday, December 14th, Parade starts at 6 PM Where: Third Avenue, Chula Vista
Celebrate the magic of the holidays at the 60th Annual Starlight Parade and Festival! This beloved South Bay tradition will bring Third Avenue to life with dazzling floats, joyful participants, and fun for all ages. There will be activities throughout the day, so make sure to come early to grab a good spot along the parade route and enjoy everything on offer—including a special holiday movie showing at the Memorial Bowl. Bring your family and friends to be part of the fun! It’s a community favorite and a great chance to make new holiday memories!
Last year the Chula Vista Starlight Parade was one of our favorite events. This year, I expect it to be even bigger.
Christmas Circle First Light
When: Saturday, December 14th, 5:30 PM to 10 PM Where: Christmas Circle, Chula Vista
For over 60 years, Christmas Circle has been a must-see in Chula Vista. This iconic neighborhood holiday display draws crowds from all over San Diego with its beautiful lights and festive decorations. Bluey Christmas at Toucan Play
When: Saturday, December 14th, 10 AM to 5:30 PM (Reservation Required) Where: Toucan Play, Chula Vista
Get ready for a day of fun your little ones won’t forget! Toucan Play is hosting a Bluey-themed Christmas celebration with photos with Bluey, holiday crafts, games, and more. Kids will love meeting Bluey up close! This event is bound to be a blast for the entire family, so make sure to reserve your time slot in advance—spots are filling up fast! Candy Cane Lane Holiday Market
When: Saturday, December 21st, 1 PM to 4 PM Where: Deco Studios & Miss Roxy Montessori, Otay Ranch Town Center
Come join Deco Studios & Miss Roxy Montessori at Otay Ranch Town Center for their festive holiday market! Starting at 1 PM, browse over ten different vendors selling unique holiday goods like handmade ornaments, holiday-themed candles, and delicious baked treats. Watch a special holiday dance showcase and enjoy the DJ spinning festive tunes. The event is free and open to the public, with activities for the kids and a special holiday-themed photo booth to capture the day’s memories. New Year’s Eve Masquerade at the Marsh

We are excited to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Feng Cha-Chula Vista, a beloved spot on Broadway that was highlighted on our social media accounts when it first opened. This charming establishment has made a name for itself with specialty drinks like the crème brûlée dirty boba and a welcoming community atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination for Chula Vista boba lovers. I have been back a few times since they opened in November 2023, and each time, I love them more and more.
Over the past year, Chula Vista has become a little sweeter with the arrival of Feng Cha Teahouse. It’s not just another boba shop; it’s a friendly space where community members can relax, catch up, and enjoy some of the best drinks in town. Whether you’re looking to unwind, study, or hang out, Feng Cha provides a comforting environment that feels like a home away from home—complete with plenty of boba! If you have not visited then what are you waiting for? Let me give you a rundown on one of my favorite boba places on the west side.
What to Expect When You Visit Feng Cha-Chula Vista
When you step into Feng Cha, you’ll be greeted by a spacious and inviting interior with cool chandeliers and plenty of seating for any visit. Need a spot to focus on your work? Grab a table and sip on a refreshing Jasmine pure tea. Looking to chat with friends? Settle in, order some snacks, and get comfy! Their spot aims to be the perfect social hangout for everyone—students, friends, families, and all who love tea.
While their interior is designed to be cozy, a few visitors noted that it can sometimes get a little stuffy inside. If the weather permits, you may prefer to take your drink outside for a cool breeze. Feng Cha’s vibe is all about bringing people together—and with friendly staff always on hand, you’ll feel right at home.

Feng Cha-Chula Vista’s menu is a delightful mix of classic milk teas, fruit teas, and unique specialty drinks—all crafted with quality ingredients. Here are some must-try options that locals, like me, are raving about:
Jasmine Pure Tea with Sea Salt Foam: Light and refreshing, this drink features fluffy sea salt foam that adds just the right amount of savory contrast. It is one of our most popular drinks, loved for its perfect balance of flavors and creamy foam.
Creme Brulee Dirty Boba: A creamy, indulgent drink that combines the best of boba and the rich flavors of creme brulee.
Oreo Cheese Milk Tea: For those who love something sweet, this blend of cheese foam and Oreo crumbles is pure delight.
Kiwi Basil Green Tea: Made with real fruit, this drink is the definition of refreshing—a perfect balance of fruity flavor and quality green tea.
Whether you like your tea fruity, creamy, or a little bit of both, there’s something on the menu for every taste.
So many of you recommended that we try the Creme Brulee Dirty Boba, and WOW, it was so good. The strawberry tea is also my new favorite in the west Chula Vista area.

My only knock is their parking lot. It is super tight and can be busy at times. I suggest you find some street parking on the backside.
