This is the one so many of you have asked us about and it is getting so close! TNT Pizza, lovingly known as Thick’n Thin, is bringing its celebrated pizzas to Downtown Chula Vista with a second location. This beloved pizzeria will serve South Bay locals with various quality pizzas, from the trendy one-inch-high Detroit pizza to the classic New York-style pizza, available by the slice or as whole pies. Additionally, patrons can savor medium-thick grandma pan pizza and ultra-thin tavern-style options. The new location will also feature an expanded menu with a wide range of toppings, appetizers, and sandwiches.

Galu Café: Healthy and Hearty Delights

Health-conscious eaters meet your new favorite spot: Galu Café. This cozy café and delicatessen offers high-quality craft brews, teas, and a delectable selection of toasts, pastries, and sandwiches. 27th Annual Lemon Festival this Saturday

We are so excited about the much-anticipated 27th Annual Lemon Festival, which is happening this Saturday. The event is always a zestful day of food, music, and fun in Downtown Chula Vista. Once hailed as the “Lemon Capital of the World,” the city will honor its citrus history on August 17th, 2024. From 11 am to 6 pm, Third Avenue will transform into a vibrant lemon haven packed with family-friendly events. Explore local arts and crafts vendors, refresh yourself at the wine and beer garden, and delight in lemon-themed treats while witnessing the excitement of the lemon cook-off competition.

Kids will have a blast at the Little Lemons kids zone in Memorial Park, and there will be ample photo opportunities with the festival’s mascot, Tarty the Lemon. With two stages of live music, attendees can dance the day away or soak in the tunes.

Organized by the Downtown Chula Vista Association, this cherished festival brings together thousands to celebrate the area’s rich agricultural heritage and lively community spirit. So, grab your lemon-themed gear and get ready to “squeeze” the day at this delightful community event!
