Welcome to Congregational Place in Chula Vista: A New Community for Older Adults

Congregational Place Chula Vista

We are excited to announce another great project coming to Chula Vista: Congregational Place. This new development will enhance downtown Chula Vista and bring life to a lot that has been empty for years. Congregational Place promises to provide a vibrant and secure community for older adults, offering a range of amenities and sustainable features. It’s beautiful to see this project moving forward and contributing to the revitalization of our city.

Let’s go over some of the features of this new project that will make it unique.

Congregational Place Chula Vista
Congregational Place Chula Vista will be located at the corner of E St. and Third Avenue. Who remembers when this was a used car lot?

Congregational Place amenities for residents

The first floor is the hub of essential services and conveniences. Here, residents will find:

  • Mail Room
  • Laundry Room
  • Manager’s Office
  • Receptionist Area
  • Service Coordinator’s Office

Additionally, 2,083 square feet of commercial space will be leased to San Ysidro Health. The company plans to operate a PACE program, providing comprehensive healthcare services to income—and age-eligible individuals in the South Bay area.

Second-Floor Features

The second floor is designed for leisure and community activities, featuring:

  • Community Room
  • Computer Room
  • Arts & Crafts Room
  • Large Outdoor Deck

To support aging in place, 50% of the apartments on floors two through seven will be accessible for individuals with mobility impairments. In comparison, 2% will cater to those with visual and hearing impairments.

  • Energy-Efficient Lighting Fixtures
  • Water-conserving fixtures, including low-flow shower heads, faucets, and high-efficiency toilets.
  • WaterSense Labeled Products for optimal water efficiency.

Prime Location for getting around Chula Vista

This community is a transit-oriented development conveniently situated near multiple transportation options. Residents can easily access:

  • Local Shuttle

  • Bus Services

These transportation options make it simple to shop, attend medical and personal appointments, or visit family and friends. The light-rail system is just one mile west, providing seamless access throughout San Diego County.

The location of Congregational Place is also a significant plus for residents. Downtown Chula Vista is growing, with so many new businesses and restaurants coming to the area. Residents can walk to Garden Farms Market or even pick up some delicious Pan Dulce at La Concha.
