Chula Vista Public Library at Otay Ranch Town Center is now open
Hey, Chula Vista book lovers and community members! Exciting news from the heart of Otay Ranch Town Center—the Chula Vista Public Library has just opened its doors at a brand-new spot! I had the pleasure of touring this expanded space; let me tell you, it’s a game-changer. Nestled just a few doors down from its former nook in the food court, this new setup is more spacious and buzzing with fresh features.
Step in, and you’ll find cozy seating aplenty, an inviting reading area for the kids, a bank of computers ready for use, and yes, even a collection of DVDs for those nostalgic for a movie night the old-fashioned way. Remember, this is a temporary location—something even more significant is on the horizon! The future permanent home will be in the Univer-City building, which promises three levels of library bliss.
I know some of you have been curious about passport services. While they’re unavailable just yet, plans are in the works to include them soon. I’ll keep you updated.
Have you checked out the new library location yet? If so, please comment with your thoughts—I’d love to hear from you!
