This post got over 2000+ comments

That one post really took off. Between Instagram and Facebook, it brought in more than 2,000 comments, and it was fun seeing how many of you showed up to talk about the places you miss most.

Last week, I asked which spot you would bring back if you could: Fun 4 All, Souplantation, Fuddruckers, or Vogue Theater. I went through the comments and counted the votes; the winner was Souplantation with 386 votes. Right behind it was Fuddruckers, which made it a close race.

Personally, I’d love to see Souplantation make a comeback, too. I know a lot of us have good memories there. But Fuddruckers also brought back a lot of nostalgia, and judging by the comments, I know I’m not alone on that.

The conversation is still going, and people are still commenting, so if you want to add your vote, head over to the original post on my Instagram or Facebook page. And who knows, maybe I’ll do another one with even more local spots we all miss.

I have lived in this great community for over 30 years. In that time I have seen so many changes both good and bad. My goal is to promote this city and all of the good that goes on here. There are so many local events, small businesses and community groups making this city even better. You can always find me at the events taking photos.
