Looking for a way to give back to the planet? Join us for Chula Vista Earth Day 2025 on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Chula Vista Bayfront Park (off J Street). It’s a great chance to show a little appreciation for the one planet we all call home. Last year, Southbay Earth Day was one of my favorite events. The live music was really good and everyone was having a fun time.

This zero-waste event is designed to inspire and educate. You’ll find interactive exhibits on everything from green energy to composting, with simple tips to help you live a more eco-friendly lifestyle. Want to go even deeper? Bring something that’s broken—an electronic device, a piece of clothing, or a household gadget—and stop by the Fix-it Clinic. Experts will be on hand to help you troubleshoot and repair it, keeping it out of the landfill.

Ride, Don’t Drive

Getting there is part of the fun! Skip the car and hop on your bike—we’ll have a bike-only valet ready just for you. Last year, the traffic was a little busy, and parking filled up fast. We always recommend riding a bike to the event.

With over 40 green vendors, live entertainment, hands-on activities, and organic food, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re a lifelong environmentalist or just curious about living greener, you’ll leave feeling inspired.

The City of Chula Vista is bringing this free, family-friendly event to you, and everyone is welcome. Please bring your friends and family, and let’s celebrate Chula Vista Earth Day 2025 in style!
