Downtown Chula Vista’s 5th Annual Dia de los Muertos Celebration

The Downtown Chula Vista Association invites you to join the community for the 5th Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration on Saturday, November 1, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. This beloved tradition brings families, friends, and neighbors together to honor loved ones who have passed while celebrating the color and joy of life.

Downtown Chula Vista—stretching along Third Avenue and Memorial Park—will come alive with vibrant cempasuchils, live music, dance performances, towering alebrijes, and a community altar honoring local families.

This free family event also features a lowrider car show with ofrendas, kids’ crafts, artisan vendors at the Mercado by Las Jefas Market, delicious local bites and sips, and themed photo ops throughout the neighborhood.
