Chula Vista Fire Department Open House

The Chula Vista Fire Department Annual Open House is happening on Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire Station #5, 341 Orange Avenue. This free, family-friendly event, part of Fire Prevention Week, consistently draws a large crowd. Guests can enjoy live demonstrations, fire equipment displays, safety exhibits, and guided station tours. Firefighters will share tips from this year’s campaign, “Cooking Safety Starts With YOU,” helping families stay safe in the kitchen. Kids will love the scavenger hunt, and the event will also feature food, local vendors, and community organizations on site. It’s a great way to meet the people who keep our city safe while enjoying a fun day out with the family.
