This Saturday, Aug. 24, from 12 to 5 p.m., Downtown Chula Vista’s Third Avenue will be transformed into pickleball central as dozens of teams compete in the first-ever Chula Vista Pickleball Tournament.

Whether you’re a pickleball pro or new to the game, this event is perfect for everyone! While the player registration is closed, spectators are more than welcome to come out, cheer on the teams, and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

Why It Matters: All proceeds from this event will go to the Chula Vista Fire Department Heritage Foundation’s project to restore “The Goose,” a historic 1916 fire engine that holds a special place in our city’s history. Your support helps bring this piece of Chula Vista’s heritage back to life!
