Chula Vista Center El After Life

The second annual El After Life Día de los Muertos Celebration is returning to Chula Vista Center on Sunday, November 1, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. This free family event will bring the community together for an afternoon celebrating Día de los Muertos through art, music, culture and tradition.

The celebration will feature art exhibitions, art making, face painting, goodie bags, giveaways and café de olla. Guests can also enjoy a folklórico performance by Wa-Kushmaa, a live mariachi, an altar exhibition, an ancestral blessing ceremony, and a Catrina contest.

The event will take place at Chula Vista Center, 555 Broadway in Chula Vista, and all activities are free.
