The Vogue Theater in Chula Vista opened in 1943

Did you know that on this day in 1943 the Vogue Theater opened to the public. If you have lived in Chula Vista for a while then you have memories of this spot. It was the go to movie theater in the area. You got three movies for $4 a little more if you got the lounge seats in the back. What was the last movie you saw here? They had plans on making it a beer & music hall, but I think that fell through. I would love to peek inside to see what the theater looks like now.
