Celebrating the Winners of the 2025 Chula Vista Starlight Parade

The winners of the 2025 Chula Vista Starlight Parade were officially announced this week, and it was refreshing to see the City host a proper ceremony at the Chula Vista City Chambers. In past years, many parade participants were left wondering who won what. This year, the City listened, followed through, and made the effort to share the results publicly. That matters.
It’s wild to say “last year” when the 2025 Starlight Parade actually took place just last month in Downtown Chula Vista, but the improvements were clear. The parade felt tighter, the gaps were mostly gone, and the overall flow was noticeably better than 2024. Credit where it’s due, the parade organizers really stepped it up. It was a fun night, and it set a solid bar going forward.

One additional shout-out goes to Balboa South, which won Best Decorated Storefront along Third Avenue. They went all out, not just outside but inside as well, and it showed.
If you were one of this year’s winners, congratulations and thank you for being part of such a special Chula Vista tradition. And for everyone else, mark your calendars now. The 2026 Chula Vista Starlight Parade is tentatively scheduled for December 5th, and we’ll be sharing updates as soon as they’re announced.
