The City of Chula Vista welcomes the return of the 2013 Taste of Third & Art Walk! Sponsored by the Third Avenue Village Association (TAVA), the event returns on Thursday, March 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. The walking culinary art event features a self-guided tasting tour of fifteenThird Avenue eateries. Along the way, participants can enjoy unique art displays, a cappella musical acts and sidewalk chalk art exhibits.

A Taste of Third ticket acts as a passport allowing for samples of classic American favorites to exotic Italian and Mexican dishes and ending with French style pastries. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the event. Tickets are limited and historically have sold out, so an early purchase is recommended.

Local businesses participating this year include California Sushi, City Market, D’Volada Cafe, Don Pedro Taco Shop, Edible Arrangements, El Primero Hotel, Fuddruckers, Illusion Dance Hall Catering, Italianissimo Trattoria, Jimmy’s by the Park, La Bella Pizza Garden, Mangia Italiano On Third, Marie Callender’s, My Cup of Tea and Sweet Sisters Bakery.

Tickets are available at TAVA office’s located at 353 Third Avenue, Chula Vista. Group discounts are available for groups of 20 or more.

I love Chula Vista and getting the word out on all the good stuff that is going on in the community. This website is my little blog to all the tings that I love and attend here in the South Bay. I like to consider myself as Mr. Chula Vista. Along with this website you can also follow me on Twitter or Like the website on Facebook. When I'm not out covering an event I work as a Graphic Designer for WhiteGeckoMarketing.com. Be sure to check it out to see my work.
