The Chula Vista Harbor Days Festival kicked off on Saturday. This two day event is put on by the city of Chula Vista and the Unified Port of San Diego. The event is held each year at the marina and showcases our beautiful bay front.
There was plenty for families to see and do this year. There was a kid’s activity zone with games, face painting, music and art. Along with stuff for the kids they also had classic cars on display, a beer garden, two stages with live music and RC boat races. Each year the tall ship Californian and the steam boat Medea dock at the Chula Vista Marina. You get the chance to climb aboard and tour the historic ships for free.
Below are some photos from day one of the event. We will be posting up a full event wrap up and videos next week. Make sure you follow us for more south bay event coverage.
